The Association
The Lake Cherokee Neighborhood Association (LCNA) is a voluntary civic association of residents of the historic Lake Cherokee district. It is not an HOA — it holds no authority over what neighbors do with their property, and it collects no mandatory dues. It exists to steward the historic district and to give the neighborhood one organized, accountable voice with the City of Orlando and Orange County Public Schools.
What the Association does
The Association takes up the matters that affect the neighborhood as a whole — the kind no single household can address alone, from the historic character of the district to the future of the lake itself.
When the Association takes a formal position, it says so plainly and cites the vote or bylaw that authorizes it. Individual neighbors may of course hold their own views; an Association position speaks only for the Association.

The board & meetings
The Association is led by a board of directors elected by the membership. Meetings are open to every resident of the district. Meeting dates, agendas, and past minutes will be published here as the Association’s records pages come online.
